EPISODE ONE

Shortly after the birth of his son, Duche found himself sitting on the floor of a prison, five states away from his little boy, A possible 38 year prison sentence was the weight he was carrying, and one question was repeating through his mind, “How am I gonna get myself out of this?” Himself, abandoned and having never met his father, now every promise he made to his son would become lies. An attack by an inmate on him, would cleverly navigate him one place he would not have been otherwise. Church was an eight by twelve prison cell and one other inmate, sentenced to life in prison was the only other attendee. Thats when a man he never met, reached through the prison bars, handing him a small brown book and said eight words that changed his life.

In this episode of “LIFE… After the Hustle”, Duche’s son, now grown, having spent eight years in the United States Navy, confronts his father about a life full of disappointments and misunderstandings. These explosive personalities go back into prisons and set out to help others, but they themselves have to work through their own feelings and frustrations. Watch as they lead a crew of dynamic people into the 3rd largest jail in the country to confront violent gang members, share their turbulent story and help others find healing from ”father wounds” while they hope for healing themselves.
